RSA 644:8-d Maiming or Causing the Death of or Willful Interference With Police Dogs or Horses.

I. "Whoever willfully tortures, beats, kicks, strikes, mutilates, injures, disables or mistreats a dog
   or horse owned or employed by or on behalf of a law enforcement agency or whoever willfully interferes
   or attempts to interfere with the lawful performance of such dog or horse shall be guilty of a 
   misdemeanor for each offense."

II. "Whoever willfully causes the death of a dog or horse owned or employed by or on behalf of a law
    enforcement agency shall be guilty of a class B felony."
